The Windows system can automatically perform certain actions at windows startup. For this purpose, there are several mechanisms, including the "Startup" folder; shortcuts can be added by simple dragging and dropping. On the other hand, execute software programs immediately prior to shutdown windows is not easy.
As expected, it's possible with group policy script which starting its work when the operating system shuts down, but such feature is not offered for the buyers of "Home" editions of the operating system, and its version is running on laptops, notebooks and netbooks by the manufacturers of these devices. Implemented to run software, command files (*. bat, *. cmd, *. vbs and others that can be run in the usual method) and the shortcuts placed in the Shutdown Folder. If this folder is not empty and includes several elements, the utility intercepts the regular shutdown process, launch executable files or scripts, and waits for them. If the execution of any reason exceeds the specified time period, then running the software will be forcibly closed. After this, a regular shutdown process will continue.
The software can be extremely helpful, indispensable software if you want to organize a regular automated backups of significant files, drives cleaning, scan and fix and in fact any action at shutdown. This selection of time for a quantity of maintenance operations to be more suitable than the execution of the service application in the beginning of the system session when you are interested to start work as soon as possible. Optionally you can launch your planned actions not only at the shutdown time, but when the user logs out.
